Hi, I'm Caroline, A very warm welcome to my yoga classes!
My classes are open to everyone - non-members are very welcome!

My classes are a Hatha yoga style, slow paced, relaxed, informal & inclusive

Newcomers to Yoga are very welcome

A reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required to participate.

Taught with a respect for yoga's traditional roots.

Incorporating use of props to support and facilitate poses, soft music and essential oil diffusion to aid in creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Classes are usually themed around either a specific area of the body, joint or muscle movement, with a focus on balance. Sometimes they are underpinned by an intention or a reference to ancient yoga wisdom.

There is an emphasis on the movement of breath throughout the class and breathwork practices (pranayama) are often featured. We always finish with relaxation and stillness, (Savasana) to quieten the mind and relax the nervous system.

Students are challenged in their yoga practice but are encouraged to go gently, to listen to their bodies and work within their own range of movement, reinforcing that Yoga is non competitive.
